A high street is blocked in the Rhondda as emergency services respond to reports of two people’s death.
South Wales Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service and South Wales Fire and Rescue are in attendance at the incident on High Street, Cymmer, in Rhondda.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police were called by the ambulance service just after 10.50am this morning following reports of the death of two people on High Street, Cymmer, Porth.
“Investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
A fire service spokeswoman said officers received a call regarding the incident at 11.10am and is ongoing.
Witnesses at the scene report that there are about three police cars, an ambulance and a fire engine parked at the scene near Cymmer Primary School.
The road has been blocked and motorists are having find alternative routes.
