The body of a man has been found in woodland in Merthyr Tydfil.
The body was found by a member of the public in Pontsarn at around 4pm on October 1.
No formal identification has yet been made but officers from South Wales Police are supporting the family of missing man Damian Pozniak.
An investigation into the circumstances of the death is ongoing.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “We can confirm that a body of a man was located on Friday, October 1 in a wooded area in Pontsarn, Merthyr Tydfil.
“Police were called by a member of the public who made the discovery shortly after 4pm. No formal identification has yet been made but the family of missing man Damian Pozniak has been advised and is currently being supported.
“An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is ongoing.”
