Police appeal after three injured in Blackwood ‘disorder’

Gwent Police is appealing for information to identify a man after three men were injured in Blackwood.

It comes after an incident of “disorder” happened on High Street, Fleur-de-lis at around 1am on June 27.

According to officers, three men received injuries. Two received medical treatment at Prince Charles Hospital but have since been released.

A spokesman for Gwent Police said: “We’re appealing for witnesses and information to identify this man following an incident of disorder that occurred on High Street, Fleur-de-lis at approximately 1am on 27th June.

“Three men received injuries. Two received medical treatment at Prince Charles Hospital but have since been released.

“Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent; a 38-year-old man from Penpedairheol has been released on police bail pending further enquiries and a 38-year-old man from Gelligaer has been released under investigation.

“Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to call 101 quoting 2100224598.”
